1. Position : Plant Director
2. Function : T-Plant
3. Reports To : T-Head , GM
4. NO. of Direct Reports : 1
5. Deucation Requirement : Minimum of bachelors degree in science,engineering or related discipline
6. Responsibilities :
Provide overall leadership, direction and coordination to the plant maintaining awareness for the need for ongoing change and continuous improvement, monitoring performance versus plan and update and taking corrective action as necessary to meet targets for output, payroll and operating expenses.
Leading by example, maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, environmental control and customer service.
Ensure the plant produces the highest quality products in the safety, most efficient and hygienic manner, in compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Details major responsibilities and Activities
Provide leadership to the plant, directing operations to ensure that safety, quality, environmental, production output, product cost and other plant objectives and achieved.
Put in place an effective operational structure and anticipate the talents and skills required to meet future needs and work to develop employees’ capabilities to meet these needs.
Drive safe behaviors at all levels of the organization, ensuring plant infrastructure and equipment is maintained to the highest level of safety and work to achieve zero safety incidents, with immediate response and thorough investigations and corrective action for all hazardous occurrences and accidents.
Ensure compliance to all company quality and regulatory policies and procedures, meeting all local statutory requirements and meeting regulatory requirements of countries to which products are shipped.
Prepare and ensure achievement of the financial plants/updates.
Ensure full business excellence program and lean/sigma continuous improvement initiatives in the plant.
Interface with the R&D organization, regional commercial organizations and marketing affiliates and others to ensure the growth of the plant to a viable commercial and profitable operation, through product line extensions, process improvements and new product launches.
Interface with local government and regulatory agencies, effecting good external community and business relations.
7. Basic requirements :
Industry experiences :
10 years’ experience in operations positions in a manufacturing environment.
5 years’ experience at a senior operations management situation.
8 employees report directly to the manufacturing manager. The remained of plant employees reporting indirectly.
Background and experience needed to make sound quality-related decisions.
Good grasp of manufacturing finance processes.
Good human relation skills in dealing with employees at all levels.
The ability to organize, motivate and develop peoples.
Lean/sigma credentials
Knowledge of values creation.
8. Salary : one million per year and project bonus.
